Ultrasound
The results are in.....kind of. The baby is sitting breech so it was hard to see, but the doctor says we are having a GIRL! Yey! We will check again in 4 weeks to make sure. The baby looks healthy - no club feet, no cleft palates. The doctor wants to look at her heart again to check for murmurs when she is 24 weeks.

Mason had his heart set on being Kain from Final Fantasy IV....yeah right....but he quickly changed his mind when we walked into the Spirit Halloween Store and he saw this........

I cant believe this is his 4th Halloween already! He is turning into such a little boy and not so much my baby. Here are pics from his first couple Halloweens.....see what I mean!

Halloween

So we travelled to Bishop's Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland, CA the other weekend to pick out our Halloween pumpkins.
Allen could barely lift this big guy into the wheelbarrel!
We had a good time riding the train, drinking apple cider and wandering through the corn maze. Now we just have to decide if we are going to carve this thing or not!

Bebo Before and After
So as you all may or may not know, Mason had surgery to fix his belly button hernia, as well as the hernias in his groin. The surgery went well and his bandaids came off the other day. Now, I have to post before and after pictures so you know why I am sad.
I liked Mason's "bebo" the way it was! That's the way he was born, and I didn't want to change it. The pediactric surgeon said I was the first mom to request the outie belly button. Oh well. it's cute, dont get me wrong, but it will take me awhile to get over missing his outie. Afterall, how will Mason know when he's full? He always just checked to see if his bebo was sticking out!

Camping Out

Mason and Auburn Fire Dept

On our way to Coloma the other week with Dad and Shirla, we stopped in Old Auburn for lunch. I had to park at the top of a hill, and right in front of me was the fire department. They just came back from a call, and were working on their engine, but invited us over to take a look. They were the nicest guys, they offered to let Mason sit in the cabin and honk the horn (Mason declined as to shyness), and they even gave him a child's fire helmet. Mason did sit on the side of the engine and pose for a few pictures though.
